about

The first full length album release by Cora since Volatile (as Clay Venezia).

About the album:

Conceptually it is a series of vignettes relating to experiences I have gone through, organized in a fashion that tells an overarching unrelated story. It was originally to be titled "Situationism" after the visual arts movement, but I realized that tonally my album is quite different from that, so I went in a similar but different direction. The vignettes are abstracted incredibly far from actuality but the intent is conveying the emotional experience through how each song makes you feel.

I would like to thank Kate, Marcos, Calvin, Skyler, Caleb, Stirling, Shiloh, Vince, Tomu, Tyler, Guayaki, coffee, stress, and sleep deprivation for making this possible.

I really hope you enjoy it.

Thank you for listening!

About Cora:

Cora Moon is an 18 year old producer and multi-instrumentalist from the California Bay Area. Their music usually takes the form of dark, evolving future bass or experimental minimal house. They have had a passion for sounds since their early explorations with guitar and piano at age 8. Throughout their adolescence they played in multiple bands (ranging from anti-folk to progressive metal) and were involved in numerous electronic projects, gaining notoriety in the local music scene for their eclectic pursuits. Recently, Cora has been furiously composing music and managing the DIY label Snack Pack Records. They hope to push the boundaries of sound design and keep growing as an artist and label visionary.
